UWA Baseball and Softball Club (UBSC) aka UWA Whips, fields Mens Baseball, Womens Baseball, Senior and Junior Womens Softball teams.

The UWA Baseball and Softball Club cater for all sorts of levels from competitive to social. The club is also renown for having very experienced coaches and a strong commitment to developing Juniors or first time players. So if you are competitive, trying to develop your skills or just want a social run around with friends we can help.

Men’s & women’s baseball competes in the Baseball WA competition whilst Softball compete in the PSL League under Softball WA. Women’s Baseball also competes under Baseball WA, as part of the WA Women’s Baseball League.

Home Ground:

UWA Sports Park (McGillivray Oval) Brockway Rd, Mount Claremont, Western Australia / Perth

Facilities:

Club House with Bar Facilities, 2 Baseball Diamonds with Homerun Fence on Main Diamond, 4 Batting Cages and Change Rooms.

Season:

October through to March. Preseason training generally starts mid-August.

Season Training:

Thursdays. Training starts at 5:30pm and goes to 7.00pm.

Game Day:

Softball – Saturday at either 2pm or 4pm at Mirrabooka Softball Complex (and the occasional weekday night game).

Social:

The Club has an extensive Social Calendar …. we are a real “Social Bunch”. Last season, social events included a Themed Cocktail Party, Mousing Racing, Quiz Night, Movie Night on the Field and Presentation Night.
