Hockety Coffs Coast Update

Published Wed 23 Mar 2022

We just wanted to let you know HCC intends on opening the canteen Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the Winter Hockey Season.
In terms of staffing, we would need 2 people for the canteen, 1 or 2 for the tech bench (for Seniors and Juniors).
No people U18 in the Canteen during senior games as the bar will be operating.

A reminder to everyone "No alcohol is permitted to be bought onto the hockey complex".

If anyone in your clubs is interested in getting their RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) course, there are currently opportunities to do this at "No Cost" as these courses are being funded under skills shortages.  Check out some local RTOs - Coffs Community College is one that is offering these courses.

Currently, there are no requirements to wear masks inside buildings and capacity limits have been removed. The wearing of face masks are a personal choice and HCC has some stock of these should they ever be needed.

We would encourage everyone to continue to wash and sanitize their hands and if you are not feeling well, please don't come to hockey, consider taking a COVID test or seek medical attention.

COVID is already impacting people in our community with many children bringing this home to parents, resulting in people facing multiple isolation periods.

We will all need to continue to work together as we navigate our way through the ever-changing COVID environment, as there will most certainly be at times some impact on games, umpiring and duty, especially now we are heading into winter.

Looking forward to our first weekend of hockey for the winter season.

Kind regards
Debbie Baldwin
