Sunshine Coast Track Fest 2026 brings together elite track racing and community participation running in one high energy evening. With three showcase races featuring some of Australia’s fastest track athletes and a community fun run open to all!

Track Fest is a celebration of both high performance and participation running on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

The Sunshine Coast track Challenge - part of the Saturday 14^th February Track Fest!

Track Challenge details and nomination instructions ....This event will attract top athletes competing across the three track distances.

• Nominations are now open and will close on Thursday 12th February at 5pm - NO LATE NOMINATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED
• You must be a UniSC Athletics or QA affiliated club member to compete:  - JOIN UniSC Athletics   
• FEES:
  $25 per event  * UniSC members - $10 off using Member discount code  26TC

2026 Sunshine Coast Track Challenge Start List - Will be provided after nominations close 

• Race times are as follows:
  • 6:00 pm - 100m
  • 6:45 pm - 800m
  • 7:30 pm - 3000m (feature race)

 All distances will be run as seeded finals.

The following race categories will be recognised for prizes:

• Male and female - U16, U20, Open Elite, Masters
• Male and female - U17 and Open Para 

PLEASE NOTE: Athletes who podium in the Open Elite races must forego their masters, junior or para podium placing. Athletes who record the fastest 3 times in each race distance will receive 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd prizes regardless of which seeded race they compete in.

There will be a considerable cash prize pool across the three open elite races (100m, 800m and 3000m) and vouchers and product prizes to all other divisions thanks to our generous event sponsors.

The Para 3000m will be an OPEN category only.
