In the event of storms and heavy rain Toowoomba Softball Associations Officials inspects the grounds and will make an announcement via this website and also on Facebook if the fields are CLOSED or OPEN for use.
Club contacts will also be notified on any cancellations. It is up to the Clubs then to let their members know.
Juniors will be made by 7am while the Senior decision will be made by lunch time
We also understand we have a lot of members that travel so we try and make the decision as early as possible however we do try and get all scheduled games played, even if there is a delay in start time.
We will always endeavour to provide as much notice as possible however sometimes the situation or weather may change closer to game start time.
In the event of storms during games, Toowoomba Softball Association Officials will make a decision regarding ending, pausing or delaying games when player safety is in question (lightning, water-logged fields, torrential downpour etc).
Toowoomba Regional Council
TSA are also goverened under the ground usage of the Toowoomab Regional Council and at times the council will close the grounds.
If and when this happens, TSA will let all members know.
