How do members access the benefits associated with TeeMates?
NOTE: The benefits below are only available to TeeMates Connect or TeeMates Plus members.
Youth on Course:
- TeeMates members receive a membership to Youth on Course as part of their affiliation with TeeMates.
- TeeMates members will receive a welcome email from Youth on Course within a few days of registering for TeeMates. This email will outline the necessary details on how to access rounds and where they can play. More facilities will be added as TeeMates continues to evolve.
- TeeMates members will also have access to a digital or printable membership card, which they must use to show registered YOC facilities they are a member.

Membership gift:
- TeeMates members will receive a sleeve of Callaway golf balls for joining TeeMates. The golf balls will be mailed to your home address or address provided when signing up to TeeMates - Please check your details are up to date in your profile.
Exclusive news, promotions, awards, and video content:
- TeeMates members will have access to these items via email communications and by logging into their own personal account they setup when registering for TeeMates
- TeeMates members (financial only) will be eligible for the monthly lucky member draw.
Official Golf Australia (GA) Handicap:
- TeeMates Plus members can get an official GA handicap if they choose.
- When a TeeMates Plus member signs up for membership, a Golf ID will be assigned to them. The Golf ID will be issued to them within a few days and is necessary for a member to gain their official GA handicap.
- To get your official GA handicap, you will need to submit either three 18 hole round scores, or six 9 hole round scores.
- For TeeMates Plus members to get access to your Golf ID for handicapping purposes, they will need to log into their account.
- TeeMates Plus members have to ability to submit scorecards directly to info@teemates.org.au or, as per normal through a TeeMates competition. Please ensure that you include the date, name of golf course and the colour tee markers you have played off and that the card is signed off by an appropriate person, i.e., PGA Golf Professional or another player who currently holds an official Golf Australia handicap.
