We’re excited to announce that our Kindy Gym theme for the next two weeks will be Monkey Week! 
During Monkey Week, the children will take part in fun, themed activities that focus on important early gymnastics and developmental skills, including:

Grip Strength – squeezing, hanging, and rolling activities to strengthen little hands and forearms

Upper Body Strength – holding, pulling, and hanging to build foundations for future swinging and climbing

Coordination & Motor Planning – switching hands, moving while holding, and improving body awareness

Core Stability – “monkey swinging” movements that engage tummy and back muscles
Monkey Week also supports:

Social Development & Safety – encouraging turn-taking, cheering each other on, and preparing safely for more advanced bar skills

Cognitive Development – imaginative play, confidence building, focus, and persistence through playful monkey challenges
We can’t wait to see the kids having fun while developing these key skills in a safe and engaging environment.
