The Winter Carnival is a fantastic opportunity for the kids to show you what they have been learning in the gym, and receive a GOLD MEDAL for their efforts! A sausage sandwich and drink is also included in the entry fee. The entry fee is $40 and the closing date is Friday 12th June. We will accept late entries after this with a late fee of $20.
Kindy Gym gymnasts will run through some fun circuits, set to music, and receive their very own TGC Gold Medal! The circuit will have a Winter theme - so get out all of your Frozen gear!
Our Gym Starters, Explorers, Crew, Flyers, Tumblers and Rockets will be doing a performance based on the Gemstone program they have been learning this Term.
The Winter Carnival is a showcase of the skills the gymnasts have learnt over the past 1 or 2 Terms.
Gymnasts will receive a Gold Medal, with a Gold, Silver or Bronze Ribbon at the completion of the Competition.
The Winter Carnival will be held on Sunday 5th of Ju vlyia the following draft schedule:
Sunday 5th July
- 9:00am - 10:00am: Kindy Gym (1 parent to assist)
- 10:30am - 12:30pm: Opal Gemstone
- 1:00pm - 3:00pm: Garnet, Jade and Amethyst Gemstones + Gym Crew
- 3:30pm - 5:30pm: Tumbling, Topaz, Onyx, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire and Diamond Gemstones
New Gymnasts or Gymnasts who have yet to attend a carnival (our previous Gemstone Testing in the past few years) will start on the following Gemstones. Gym Starters and Gym Rockets - Opal, Gym Explorer - Garnet, Gym Flyer - Jade.
Everyone else will have been notified of their Gemstones previously.
The Winter Carnival is a Showcase in addition to the Assessments that will be completed in the gym during their regular classes.
Entry is free for spectators and all family and friends are welcome to attend. Our canteen will operate throughout the day, with all proceeds going towards new equipment for the gymnasts.
