The Tony Galluzzo Wrestling Tournament is our club’s annual in-house tournament to celebrate the Mardi Gras season. This is an open tournament for anyone looking to get some experience participating in a wrestling tournament. 

 

Rules & Regulations

Ruleset: The official UWW Ruleset will be followed for all brackets.

Brackets will be gender neutral and drawn based on approximate weight classes with allowances made to maximise participation. i.e. we won't be having empty pools such that you don't wrestle at least 2 other participants.

Safety: A standard routine skin check may be carried out at weigh-in.

 

🤼 Uniform & Equipment (Mandatory)

A wrestling singlet and shoes are mandatory. Shorts, t-shirts or BJJ uniforms are strictly prohibited.

A long rash guard underneath the singlet and/or hair coverings worn for personal reasons will be considered.
