End of Metro and INTRA Season
After months of gritting the chill, hatted in beanies, scuffing in uggies, the winter season is finally done and dusted! Stingers are giving a huge congratulations to the 5 teams participating in metro competition, with extra commendations to our Open W Team Lap-You Lazulis who won GOLD in their division!
A special shout-out to the following Superstar Stingers performances at end of minor season:
Swimming alongside, our Sunday Intra competition the grand final game was taken by Kingsford’s Aquamarine Armada. A game of friendly fire was the running theme through the whole season, and no better demonstrated by the final winning goal, scored on penalty with 0.3sec to spare. Not even the Olympics had this tight of a thrill!
Time to dry off, find those thongs, unpack the singlets and savor the solace of a break before the commencement of the summer season.
Boot Camp
Our new recruits have graduated for the round ready for the next challenge of joining us in the pool. A gold winning thank you goes to Sophie H and Lilian, officials on the deck making sure the camp swam smoothly, and to the support crew Beck, Tom, Dylan, Sam, Rachel and Kayla.
