🧭 What’s it all about?

The Mooloolaba Yacht Club (MYC) Rum Runners Twilight Race is a great chance to practice sail trim, boat handling, and teamwork in a supportive environment — then put those skills into action in a fun, social race on the beautiful waters of the Mooloolah River. Whether you’re building confidence or just keen for a great afternoon on the water, this session has you covered.

🚗 Parking

Please avoid the Mooloolaba Marina car park (reserved for members). Street parking is available nearby — please check signage.

⏰ Schedule & Timings

The MYC Rum Runners social racing series runs every second Friday during the summer months on the club's Elliott 6s.

• Sign-on: Starts at 3:30 PM sharp

• Racing:4:00 PM to approximately 6:00 PM

• Frequency: Fortnightly on Fridays (Spring/Summer)

• Format: Short-course team fleet racing on the club's Elliott 6 keelboats. Register as an intact crew or sign up individually on the day to be matched with a boat.

💰 Cost

• Saltwater Veterans: SVSP will fully fund the $15 entry fee for Saltwater Veterans, with gratitude to Maroochy & Caloundra RSLs.
