We’re teaming up with Middle Harbour Yacht Club (MHYC) for a Discover Sailing Day — giving veterans, their families and the wider community a genuine taste of sailing.

No experience needed. Just come along and have a go.

Whether you’re an experienced salty, a volunteer, or you’ve never sailed with us before, come along.

COST

• SVSP veterans & families: Fully funded by SVSP
• General public:$12, including MHYC contribution towards sailing and refreshments and ,revs booking fee).

🚗 PARKING

• Main club carpark: approximately $10/hour
• Limited free parking beside the club
• Free street parking approximately 100m up Parriwi Road
• Beach Permit holders can park north of Spit Bridge, around a 5-minute walk

Come for the sailing. Stay for the BBQ. Leave with a new crew.

Ever wondered what it’s like to go sailing? Join us for a Discover Sailing Day and experience the thrill of being on the water while exploring your local sailing club.

• No experience needed – just bring your sense of adventure
• Perfect for families, friends, and anyone curious about sailing
• Friendly club members will be there to welcome you and answer questions

Prerequisite: For safety reasons, participants must be confident in and around the water.

By the end of the day, you’ll have:

• Experienced sailing firsthand
• Discovered the fun and community spirit of your local club
• Learned about exciting courses, activities, and ways to keep sailing

Come along, give sailing a go, and see where the wind takes you!
