Join the Saltwater Veterans Sailing Project for one of Australia's premier women's sailing events — the Ladies of the Sea Regatta at the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron.

This unique event brings together female sailors of all experience levels for a weekend of coaching, racing, learning, connection and fun on Sydney Harbour. Whether you're new to racing, looking to build confidence at the helm, or keen to develop your sailing skills alongside experienced mentors, this regatta provides a supportive and welcoming environment to do just that.

🌊 What to Expect

Over the weekend, participants will enjoy:

⚓️ On-water coaching from experienced sailors and yachtswomen

⚓️ Short-course racing on Sydney Harbour

⚓️ Opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork and boat handling skills

⚓️ Social events and networking with like-minded women from across the sailing community

⚓️ Plenty of laughs, learning and time on the water

💛 Saltwater Veterans Participation

SVSP is seeking female veterans, serving members and family members to form Saltwater Veterans crews for this event.

Through the support of our funding partners, SVSP will assist with participation costs and provide:

🔹 Entry support for Salty Supporters 2026 

🔹 Saltwater Veterans PFDs and flags to represent our community

🔹 Experienced skippers, instructors and mentors where required

🔹 A welcoming crew environment focused on participation, learning and connection
