⚓️ ASX Foundation Financial Markets & Media Charity Regatta – Calling for Volunteer Yachts!

Support veterans, enjoy an incredible day on Sydney Harbour, and help raise funds not only for the Saltwater Veterans Sailing Project (SVSP) but also for 15 other charity beneficiaries in the 2025–26 ASX Foundation Refinitiv Foundation fundraising campaign.

Each suitable yacht contributed supports SVSP’s fundraising and contributes to the total fundraising effect for every charity involved—including SVSP! 🌊🧑‍✈️⚓️

🧭 What’s it all about?
The 2025 Financial Markets & Media Charity Regatta will be held on Friday, 14th November 2025, hosted by Middle Harbour Yacht Club.

We’re seeking generous yacht owners to donate the use of their yachts for the day—supporting this large, high-profile charity regatta which raises substantial funds for 16 worthy causes.

✔️ Minimum Cat 7 safety standard required
✔️ Must be able to safely carry at least 6 corporate guests (regatta participants) plus your required crew
✔️ No commercial survey required—this is a standard club race environment with a charitable purpose hosted by MHYC
✔️ Ideally yachts that are Class One, Two, or Three Ocean Racing Yachts (per event guidelines)

Up to 50 yachts are expected, with the event concluding in a prize-giving reception, BBQ, and beach party at the club—sponsored by partners providing food, drinks, entertainment, and more.

For every yacht provided, SVSP unlocks additional fundraising support—helping us continue to deliver free and low-cost sailing opportunities for veterans and their families.

• 11:00am – Activity briefing

• Ongoing – Regatta sailing with corporate guests ⛵

• 3:00pm – Return to dock

• Post-Race – BBQ, Prize Giving & Beach Party at Middle Harbour Yacht Club

No cost to yacht owners—vessels and crew are kindly volunteered.
Every yacht you provide unlocks a vital donation to SVSP via the ASX Foundation campaign—directly funding our work supporting veterans and their families through sailing activities nationwide.
