2025 Home Run Heroes

Junior Pre-season Softball Program hosted by Sutherland Softball Club.

Get ready for the upcoming softball season with Home Run Heroes, our fun and engaging junior pre-season program designed for both new and returning players aged 5-11 years old.

Looking for your child to try out teeball or softball for the first time, without the need to commit to a whole season?

Looking to refresh your child’s skills before the summer season?

Each session will focus on developing confidence in the fundamental skills of throwing, catching and batting, all through fun and engaging activities. Sessions end with a modified teeball/softball game, giving players the chance to put their new skills into action while learning the basics of gameplay and teamwork.

Program overview

Develop introductory skills in throwing, catching and batting
Fun and engaging format using activities and modified games
Suitable for beginners and returning players with 3 years or less experience
All equipment provided for those without their own

Events details

Who: Children aged 5 to 11 years old
When: Saturdays, 23 August - 13th September, 3pm – 5pm
Where: Mawson Playing Fields
Cost: $50 per player. (Includes insurance coverage. If you decide to register for the full season, this amount will be deducted from your full season fee.)
