U4 Soccer
BHJSA will continue with the U4 Soccer that was trialled in 2025, registration for this grade will be slightly different to last year as there have been changes to PlayFootball which mean that we cannot take the registrations for those turning 4 on that platform.
St Joes will take registrations for children who turn 4 in 2026 for this grade (if your child is younger than this and turned 3 on or before 1/1/26 then they maybe able to register to play with another club).
To Register - One child at a time
Select 'Register' button
Enter your details - for the order
Add Child DOB
Select 1 ticket - add child's name in the box 'U4 Player Registration Attendee'
Agree to the waiver - 3 boxes to tick
Confirm Details and Make Payment
Repeat Process if you need to register an additional child - only one can be processed on each form
What U4 Game Day Looks Like
The U4 grade is an introduction to soccer, this means that everyone needs to be a little flexible with how the games run each week. Depending on the number of players who turn up for each club we may need to split the groups up to ensure there are even numbers of players of similar skill on each field.
Please arrive at 9:20am so we can warm-up and sort out teams for the day
Games will start at 9:30am - 15 minute halves, with 5 minutes half-time break
If attention is lost (ie lots of kids running off the field) then half-time maybe called after 10 minutes
Or if kids are playing well it may go a little longer while we have their attention
Parents can help by standing around the edge of the field and stop the ball going out - by keeping the ball in play it helps to keep the kids attention on the game
A limited number of adults/older children can be on the field helping - this is at the referees discretion as too many people on the field makes it hard for the kids to learn the skills of soccer
The season will start Saturday 9th May, end date is TBC
