Terms and Conditions
This is a Squash WA sanctioned Tournament played under WSF Rules.
Clothing as provided for in the Squash WA Regulations is to be worn.
All men’s and women’s events shall consist of best of five games, and games shall be played using the PAR 11 system.
It is the players’ responsibility to enter the correct age group. Prize money may be forfeited if players are found to have entered the incorrect age group. The Tournament Organiser/s reserves the right to transfer any player or not accept a player’s entry prior to commencement of the Tournament.
Request for exemptions must be advised upon registration. If requests cannot be accommodated, players will be advised prior to the draw being published.
The Tournament Organiser/s, Squash WA and its officers, employees or agents shall not be liable for any death or personal injury or loss or damages to property sustained or incurred by any person in connection with the Tournament howsoever caused.
If there are not enough numbers for a draw to be created of an age group, the Tournament Organiser/s reserve the right to amalgamate one age group into another or cancel that age group.
Forfeits count as matches.
Any player that withdraws from the Tournament after the draws have been published will automatically have their first match counted as a forfeit, and will lose ranking points accordingly.
Players that are not present at prizegiving, automatically forfeit their prize, unless an arrangement has previously been arranged with the Tournament Organiser/s.
Players are responsible for verifying their division and playing times. Players can view division draws and playing times on the Tournament notice board at the Venue or online via the Australian nationally recognised software platform.
Dunlop balls as per Squash WA metropolitan pennant competition will be used.
All players are required to mark or referee other matches.
I/we give permission to Squash WA to use any photographic image taken of me at this event to be used by WA Squash in printed publications on the internet or in other electronic formats. Please email the Tournament Director directly should you not allow the use of photos.
The Tournament Organiser/s and Squash WA promote the following Healthway messages:
- Choose Water. For the best performance on and off the court, hydrate with water
- Choose fruit for a healthy halftime or fulltime snack
- Choose veg. We fuel our bodies with 2 fruits and 5 veg every day
- To be our best on and off the court, we get active every day
Squash WA tournament photographs are not to have images of alcohol or people consuming alcohol.
All players must be registered with Squash WA and financial with their clubs.
Squash WA does not provide invitation letters or letters of support for overseas players. These are only supplied to PSA players for PSA tournaments, and need to be requested directly from the Professional Squash Association.
No exception to these terms and conditions will be made without prior written approval from the Tournament Organiser/s.
