About Skate Synergy
Skate Synergy is an Ipswich-based artistic roller skating club dedicated to helping skaters of all ages develop their skills, confidence and love of skating in a supportive community environment.
Based at Skateaway Bundamba, our club provides coaching and training opportunities for skaters ranging from complete beginners through to competitive athletes.
Our goal is to make artistic roller skating accessible and affordable, giving every skater the opportunity to learn, grow and, if they choose, compete.
What is Artistic Roller Skating?
Artistic roller skating is a sport that combines skating technique, balance, precision and performance. Similar to figure skating on ice, skaters perform routines to music featuring spins, footwork, jumps and choreography.
Competitions are held at local, state, national and international levels, and many skaters enjoy both the technical challenge and the creative expression the sport offers.
Our Skating Pathway
Skaters typically begin with our Learn to Skate program, held every Saturday morning at Skateaway Bundamba.
Through our Star Level progression system, beginners develop their skating skills step-by-step. As skaters gain confidence and experience, they can join the club and continue training in artistic skating disciplines, including opportunities to participate in competitions.
Our pathway allows skaters to progress at their own pace - whether they skate for fun, personal development, or competitive goals.

Skate Synergy is a family-friendly club that welcomes skaters of all ages and backgrounds. We are proud to provide an inclusive environment where young people can build confidence, friendships and life skills through sport.
Our club is run by a dedicated committee of volunteers who are passionate about supporting skaters and growing the sport in our local community.
