Sharks Hockey Club is a friendly family orientated club who pride themselves on the development of not just great sporting ability but also great people.
Sharks Hockey Club was established in 1997 by Alan Steere with one women’s team.
Since then, the club has consistently had teams in the junior & senior competitions of the Manning Valley Hockey Association (MVHA). Many of our teams have consistently represented our club at Grand Finals, becoming premiers in both the Manning Valley competition as well as the Mid North Coast Hockey League (MNCHL) competition.
Sharks Hockey Club players have consistently represented Manning Valley & NSW with some of these players going on to represent Australian Schoolboys International Tours, NSW U21’s country team as well as Australia A 45S Masters World Cup teams to name a few.
We as a club are committed to providing a great team environment on & off the field, encourage active participation, skill development & game understanding while providing a fun & social environment to ensure that all members feel a part of the Sharks family at all times.
We encourage all players of any skill or ability to join our club. We have teams in all junior & senior competitions. Our coaches & managers provide a positive, supportive environment for all players to enjoy their hockey, encouraging players to develop their game to play at the highest level they wish to achieve.
