Dragons Basketball Academy

At Dragons Basketball Academy, we’re passionate about helping young athletes grow their confidence, skills, and understanding of the game in a positive and challenging environment.

Led by Coach Rick Batista — Division One Coach for the Eastern Suns and Head Coach of Seville Dragons — our academy is designed to help bridge the gap between domestic basketball and the next level, including players aiming towards WABL pathways.

Our sessions focus on:

• Skill development
• Game IQ and decision making
• Footwork and finishing
• Confidence under pressure
• Competitive habits and teamwork

We believe great coaching is about more than basketball. It’s about building relationships, creating a safe and encouraging environment, and helping every player improve at their own pace while still being challenged to grow.

Whether your child is looking to sharpen their fundamentals, prepare for representative basketball, or simply train with passionate coaches and like-minded athletes, Dragons Academy provides a professional and supportive space to learn.

Academy Details

🏀 Saturdays — 10am to 12pm
🏀 $400 for the full calendar year
📅 Membership runs from July 1 – June 30
👕 Includes a reversible singlet and warm-up jersey
⭐ Guest coaches throughout the year
