Vipers hosted the U16G state championships over the weekend which was a huge success. Thanks for all the volunteers. We are very proud of the two Vipers teams which finished runner up and 8th respectively.

Next weekend - U14G trials continue and we commence U16B rep trials. We have nominated two rep teams for each.

Wednesday - nominations for Open Men & Women close. To be eligible, you must be turning 18 or older this year.  HQ selects U21 and Open Queensland teams from this tournament.

Jewellery - to avoid damage to the timber floors, jewellery needs to be removed or taped.  Covered watches are okay to wear.

Umpiring - we have introduced a number of new umpires into the Vipers community this year which is very exciting. Younger umpires typically commence on Saturday half court fixtures with a mentor and progress onto higher standard and then full court Sunday games.  Please email secretary if you are interested in umpiring.

Umpiring respect - Vipers runs a number of premier competitions which require very high standard umpires. Please respect all of our umpires; they are doing their best and the fixtures cannot be run without umpires.
