Trials will be conducted to select team(s) to represent South Brisbane Indoor Hockey Association (SBIHA or Vipers) at the U14 Girls State Championships, to be held in Maryborough from Fri 13 Nov - Sun 15 Nov 2026.
Vipers is planning to nominate 1-2 teams for U14 Girls (subject to Hockey Queensland acceptance).
Trials will be a combination of training drills and games.
Please arrive 30 minutes before start-time for registration and warm-up.
Who can trial:
Only girls born in 2012-2014
Must be registered indoor players with Hockey QLD, with SBIHA as primary association for indoor
Must be a full-time registered player in a 2026 competition at SBIHA
What are the costs:
Nomination costs for trialling will be $40 per player - payable to cover venue hire for trials and some training
The nomination costs are non-refundable
If selected, rep players will be required to own or purchase Vipers green socks. Vipers will provide singlets on loan for the tournament.
A compulsory Tournament Fee is also payable to Hockey QLD
Travel and/or accommodation costs are the responsibility of the player.
Trial - Sunday 25 October (3.00pm-4.30pm)
Team trainings / second trial - Saturday 31 October (6.30pm-7.30pm), Sunday 8 November (7.00am-8.30am)
