Trials will be conducted to select team(s) to represent South Brisbane Indoor Hockey Association (SBIHA or Vipers) at the U18 Girls State Championships, to be held in Toowoomba from Fri 2 Oct - Mon 5 Oct 2026.
Vipers is planning to nominate 1-2 teams for U18 Girls (subject to Hockey Queensland acceptance).
Trials will be a combination of training drills and games.
Please arrive 30 minutes before start-time for registration and warm-up.
Who can trial:
Only girls born in 2008-2010
Must be registered indoor players with Hockey QLD, with SBIHA as primary association for indoor
Must be a full-time registered player in a 2026 competition at SBIHA
What are the costs:
Nomination costs for trialling will be $40 per player - payable to cover venue hire for trials and some training
The nomination costs are non-refundable
If selected, rep players will be required to own or purchase Vipers green socks. Vipers will provide singlets on loan for the tournament.
A compulsory Tournament Fee is also payable to Hockey QLD
Travel and/or accommodation costs are the responsibility of the player.
Trial - Sunday 20 September (6.00pm-7.30pm)
Team trainings / second trial - Tuesday 22 September (3.00pm-4.30pm), Saturday 26 September (7.00am-8.30am)
