Please nominate to represent South Brisbane Indoor Hockey Association (SBIHA or Vipers) at the Open Women's Indoor State Championships, to be held on 4-6 October 2025 (at Toowoomba). Please arrive 30 minutes before trial start-time for registration and warm-up.  NB: Players need to be available to play from 8:30am on Saturday 4th October.

• Who can nominate:
  • Women born in 2006 or earlier (2007 women from Vipers U18 rep nominees may be considered if further nominations are required)
  • Must be registered indoor players with Hockey QLD, with SBIHA as primary association for indoor
  • Must be a full-time registered player in a 2025 competition at SBIHA 
• What are the costs:
  • Nomination cost is $40 per player to cover venue hire for training
  • The nomination costs are non-refundable (unless nominations are not sufficient & court hire is not required) 
  • If selected, rep players will be required to own or purchase Vipers green socks.  Vipers will provide singlets on loan for the tournament.
  • A compulsory Tournament Fee is also payable to Hockey QLD (likely to be c.$60-65 per player)
  • Travel and/or accommodation costs (if required) are the responsibility of the player.
• Trial/Training dates:  Sunday 21 September (1.00pm-3.00pm),  Saturday 27 September (4.30pm to 6.00pm) and Sunday 28 September (4.30pm to 6.00pm) 
• State Team Nominations - HQ now requires players to nominate for State team selection using the HQ link: 2025 Nominations for QLD Indoor Team - Hockey Queensland (hockeyqld.com.au) Nominations close strictly 2 days before the State tournament commences & the fee payable to HQ for nomination is $25.
