T-Ball and PeeWee Baseball are great summer sports for kids looking to compete in a fun, safe and positive atmosphere.

Sturt Baseball Club’s 2023/24 T-Ball and PeeWee Baseball Program will likely run over 12 weeks and is designed for both boys and girls aged 6-10 years.

The first six (6) weeks are based on player skill development including throwing, catching, batting, fielding, hand/eye coordination, motor skills, rules of the game, sportsmanship, teamwork and responsibility. The squad will compete in a fun 'Game Series' over the final six (6) weeks of the program where they'll put their skills to the test in real and simulated games.

The season starts on Friday 10 November with sessions running on Friday afternoons from 4:30pm to 5:30pm in Term 4 and Term 1, 2023. We will break over the Christmas and New Year period.

COST: $200.00 / player

This player cost includes the Baseball SA capitation fee and the Sturt Baseball Club fee. Each player will receive an SBC Saints T-ball T-shirt to be worn on training and game days.

Uniform and Equipment requirements

To make your teeball/baseball experience safer and more enjoyable there are some equipment items you need to own including a Glove, see additional requirements below. Check out SA's leading Baseball retailers for gear and accessories to make the most out of your ball game. We encourage the use of local retailers Greatrex and Emmsee.

• Every player junior & senior MUST have their own helmet. No exceptions and no sharing. No helmet, no play!
• Batting gloves are mandatory. These must not be shared.
• The club will continue to supply bats and anti-bacterial wipes will be supplied to every team. If you supply your own bat then gloves are not mandatory but the bat must not be shared.
• Protective cups (for both boys and girls) must be worn during all training sessions and at games.

Uniform Policy: Look the part, Play the part

• Each player will recieve a Sturt Saints T-Ball training/game shirt to be worn when playing.
• For pants, belts and shoes, again head over to Greatrex and Emmsee. At teeball level cleated football/soccer boots are suitable.
