Junior Baseball at Sturt Saints

Sturt Baseball Club is proud to offer a vibrant Junior Baseball Program for players aged 4 to 18, including our fun-filled TeeBall program for Under 9s. From learning the basics to mastering advanced skills, our juniors enjoy quality coaching, game-day excitement, and the chance to grow both on and off the diamond.

Our program is open to every child, celebrating diversity and ensuring everyone feels welcome, supported, and included. It creates an environment where kids can build confidence, make friends, and develop a lifelong love for the game. Alongside baseball fundamentals, we focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, and the joy of belonging to a club community.

Our Sturt junior teams compete in the Baseball SA competition on Sundays, following official Baseball SA rules while enjoying a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.

Age Qualifications

The Age Matrix below stipulates the League Age requirements for athletes participating in South Australian Baseball League (SABL) Grades.

A player does not need to nominate his/her age group, it is determined automatically based on their date of birth at the time of registration via Baseball SA's League Age Matrix shown below.

Sports Vouchers

Families with children in Reception to Year 9 are eligible to receive $200 in Sports Vouchers during 2025.

• This can be used as 2 x $100 vouchers.
• You may either combine both vouchers to put $200 towards one sport/club, or split them between two different providers ($100 each).

How to redeem your voucher with our club:

1. Register online – Complete your child’s registration in full through our club’s registration system.
2. Download the voucher form – Click here to access the 2025 Sports Voucher Registration Form.
3. Fill in the form – Complete the details required on the form.
4. Send it to our Treasurer – Email your child’s completed form along with your bank details to our Treasurer, Michael Jeffery, at treasurersturtbc@gmail.com.

Michael will then process the form and arrange your refund.
