The countdown is on, with just one month to go until the Gill QLD Youth Week Coaching Clinic returns to Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron on 6–7 July 2026.
The clinic will bring together junior and youth sailors from across Queensland for two days of coaching, skill development, and on-water learning, led by an experienced team of coaches across a variety of classes.
Designed to support sailors at different stages of their development, the clinic provides an opportunity to train alongside other motivated young sailors, gain exposure to new coaching perspectives, and continue building confidence and skills during the school holidays.
This year's coaching team features a wealth of experience across youth and high-performance sailing pathways, including coaches working with ILCA, Optimist, Green Fleet, Windsurfing, Wing Foiling, and youth development classes.
The clinic is not only an opportunity to improve sailing performance but also a chance for sailors to connect with peers from clubs around the state, share experiences, and learn within a positive and supportive environment.
