The Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron is seeking enthusiastic and qualified instructors to join our vibrant team for the upcoming summer season (October to March). Whether you're an experienced coach or an up-and-coming instructor looking to build your skills, this is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive and professional environment at one of Australia's premier sailing clubs.

Located on the waterfront at Manly Harbour, RQYS offers a variety of training programs across dinghies, keelboats, windsurfers, and foiling. Our busy summer schedule includes school holiday programs, weekend learn-to-sail sessions for kids and adults, youth development squads, and community engagement initiatives.

As part of our team, you'll work alongside passionate instructors and coaches, with opportunities for professional development, mentoring, and cross-training. We offer a fun and inclusive work culture, access to quality equipment, and the chance to be part of a club that supports sailing at every level—from beginners to Olympic hopefuls.

If you hold international qualifications (e.g. RYA), there are pathways to convert these to Australian Sailing certifications—reach out early to start the process.
