Coaching & Regatta Support

Support for competitors at Youth Sail QLD includes on-water support, pre-race briefings, and race debriefs to help and support sailors throughout the regatta.

Regatta Support Requirements

As part of the RQYS Sailing Academy Regatta Support, we ask all participating sailors to:

• Register with RQYS as your home club. We are happy for sailors who are members of multiple clubs to list RQYS as a dual club.
• Wear your RQYS Youth Squad shirt at the Presentation. We want to showcase our sailors and have the RQYS team looking great together!
• Wear your Youth Squad bib while racing. This makes it much easier for our coaches to identify and support you on the water.
• Display any event sponsorship branding if required. If sponsorship is secured to help support the regatta coaching, sailors may be asked to display sponsor stickers or wear provided bibs for the duration of the event.
