Welcome back to RQ Youth Squad Training, and a warm welcome to our new members! We're excited to kick off another Term of Windsurfing & Wind Foiling with you all.

Training will resume in Week 1 of Term 4 - Either Wednesday 7th (foiling only) or Sunday, 11th October 2026 (windsurfing & foiling), with specific start dates outlined in the fleet training schedule. 

TRAINING DAYS:

WEDNESDAY - 7th October to 25th November 

• Wind Foiling from 1600 - 1800 hrs 

SUNDAYS - 11th October to 29th November 

• Wind Foiling from 0830 - 1130 hrs 
• Windsurfing from 1300 - 1600 hrs

YOUTH SQUAD PRICING:

Wind foiling:

1 Session a week - Wednesday OR Sunday session: $265.00*
2 Sessions a week - Wednesday AND Sunday  session: $400.00* 

Windsurfing:

1 Session a week - Sunday session: $265.00*

*Earlybird price ends on 1 October. An additional $25 fee will be charged after this date.

Please Note:

• If you need to hire equipment, please confirm availability with the Sailing Academy before registering.
• It's important to note that each class has a minimum attendance requirement. If this requirement isn't met, we may be unable to assign a class-specific coach for the term.
• If weather conditions aren't suitable for on-water activities, the coaches will conduct theory sessions.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

By registering for this program, you acknowledge and accept that sailing is a dangerous sport that carries inherent risks, including the potential for serious injury. One specific risk during this course is head injuries caused by contact with the boom or other equipment, which can occur regardless of a sailor's level of experience or skill.

The safety of each sailor is ultimately their own and their parent's responsibility. This includes taking appropriate precautions to minimise risks, such as wearing a helmet to reduce the likelihood of serious injury.

Program Focus:

The Intermediate Fleet Program includes scheduled and regular coaching. Allowing you to practice and race in club and class association programs at clubs.

At Intermediate Fleet level you may remain active- for-life, and enjoy lifelong activity which can cross multiple disciplines, and class of boat or board. 

During the Intermediate Fleet Program, there is continued freesail opportunity to support further enjoyment in the sport and environment.
