To help us plan coach support for the upcoming summer regatta season, we'd love to know which events you are intending to attend.
RQYS is looking to provide coach support at a range of Queensland and interstate regattas. Support will include:
There will be a fee for coach support; however, the club intends to heavily subsidise the cost to support our Youth Squad sailors representing RQYS. We understand our sport is not cheap and there are a lot of costs associated with attending regattas.
We are looking to be able to price the coaching support at a per day price that stays consistant so that you can budget the cost into your planning. We are proposing coaching support to be $60.00 per day. For example a weekend Regatta would cost a sailor $120.00, a Youth Sail Event is usually 3 days long and would cost $180.00 and a Nationals assuming it is 7 days (excluding the lay day) would be $420.00 per sailor.
At this stage, we're simply gathering expressions of interest to help us determine which events could require coach attendance and how many sailors we can expect to support.
