RQ Young Adult Sail & Social is a relaxed, low commitment way for 18–30 year olds to get out on the water, stay connected to the club, and enjoy sailing and water sport activities without needing to own a boat.
Running once a month, each session combines a fun on water activity with casual social time afterwards. Activities rotate throughout the year and may include Elliott sailing, windsurfing, foiling, Quest sailing, stand up paddleboarding, or the occasional social cruise on a member’s boat. Every session is a little different, keeping things fresh, social, and accessible.
This program is designed for young adults who already have sailing experience and are looking for a flexible, affordable way to stay involved. It is ideal for instructors and coaches, uni students, young professionals, and returning or recently aged out junior sailors.
There is no long term commitment. Simply register for the sessions you can make. Costs are kept low, typically $20 to $40 depending on the activity, and numbers are capped to ensure a quality experience.
After registering, participants will be added to a group chat to keep communication easy and casual, vote on upcoming activities, and stay connected between sessions.
Young Adult Sail & Social is about community, connection, and enjoying time on the water!
Please Note that this program is for those with prior sailing experience. If you would like to Learn 2 Sail, please check out our courses here: https://www.rqys.com.au/sailing-academy/learn-to-sail/
