About Rockhampton Fitzroy Rowing Club
Rockhampton Fitzroy Rowing Club Inc. (RFRC) is a community focused, not-for-profit rowing club that was established in September 2006. The Club is run and supported by volunteers.
Our focus is to get people involved with exercise and sport, by providing members with the facilities, equipment, and volunteer coaching to help them in their rowing endeavours.
You can find our members rowing on the freshwater stretch of the river, located to the north of the Fitzroy River Barrage.
Which Schools have a Rowing Program?
Rockhampton Fitzroy Rowing Club supports local school programs to participate and compete in rowing at a local, regional, state, and national level wherever possible.
The Cathedral College, Rockhampton Girls Grammar School, and Emmaus College all form part of RFRC and each have their own rowing programs.
