As many of you know, our clubhouse is scheduled for an upgrade this season. This is an exciting step forward for Redcliffe Softball, though it will bring some disruption. With everyone’s patience and support, we aim to keep this to a minimum.

Here is the current, approximate timeline:
Early November: Delivery of temporary buildings and amenities
Mid-November: Contractor on site, fencing of construction area (clubhouse, nearby car parks, and access areas between the clubhouse and D1 & D2)
End of November: Demolition of the old clubhouse begins
End of 2026: New clubhouse opening

Please note this timeline may change. Weather and approvals will affect progress, and we do not expect access to the new clubhouse before December 2026.

Access to D1 and D2 will be limited, but both diamonds will remain usable. Some balls may end up in the construction zone, so please bring extra and ensure they are clearly marked. We will collect lost balls during the week.

The canteen and bar will continue to operate from temporary facilities with a reduced menu. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition. The committee will spend the coming weeks preparing the clubhouse contents for storage or disposal.
