Integrity in sport means creating a safe, fair, and inclusive environment for everyone involved. The Queensland Curling Association is deeply committed to upholding integrity in our sport.
To help sports maintain integrity, the independent government agency Sport Integrity Australia developed the NIF, which Curling Australia adopted in June 2022. The NIF consists of five policies that outline the expected behaviors for participants and organizations:
When it comes to sport integrity, it is critical that our athletes and support personnel are aware of their rights and responsibilities. Sport Integrity Australia eLearning offers a number of online courses relating to sport integrity. There are different e-learning requirements and recommendations for athletes, coaches, support personnel, staff and volunteers.
