Come & Try Match Racing at PASC

Ever wondered what match racing is all about?

Port Adelaide Sailing Club is hosting a Come & Try Match Racing sessions on alternate Friday nights for sailors of all experience levels. Whether you've watched match racing on TV, followed events like the America's Cup, or simply want to improve your boat handling and racing skills, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved.

This is a learning and development event, not a serious championship. The goal is for both competitors and race officials to gain hands-on experience with the unique format of match racing in a supportive environment.

No prior match racing experience is required. Participants will rotate through a series of short races, receive coaching and explanations, and learn how tactical one-on-one racing differs from traditional fleet racing.

What to expect:

• Introduction to match racing rules and format
• Short races with plenty of time on the water
• Practical learning for skippers and crew
• Opportunity to experience umpiring and race management
• Friendly, supportive atmosphere focused on learning
• Debriefs and discussion

Whether you're an experienced club racer or completely new to match racing, come along and help PASC build its match racing capability while having fun on the water.

Learn. Race. Improve. Have fun.

Numbers may be limited to ensure maximum racing and learning opportunities for all participants.
