Refereeing is a great way to enjoy an additional challenge, give back to the sport and help it grow. We have a dedicated group of referees who play an important part in your tournaments and enjoy giving their time and energy to this great sport. We need more people from every club to step up and get involved. This will allow us officiate at all tournaments across Australia.
"Introduction to Officiating" Level 1 course is being offered to members who wish to become a referee. The cost is $50 per person. You will learn the basics of refereeing in a fun and informative way. You can also gain supported practice at the venue in the afternoon during pre-Barrington Coast Seniors Tournament practice from 2-5pm, and/or during the tournament which runs from Saturday, 16th – Monday, 18th May, 2026.
You will need to complete the pre-course study prior to the session - this will be included in your confirmation email once enrolled.
