Welcome to Perth Cubs U14 Softball!
Please take a few moments to complete the registration form below. If you have any questions along the way, don't hesitate to reach out, we are here to help.

If you are registering as a coach, manager, base umpire, scorer, there is a TEAM OFFICIAL option (no cost).

APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP (ORDINARY) AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
1. I apply to be a member of Perth Cubs Tee-ball, Softball & Baseball Club Inc.
2. I agree to abide by the Club's Rules (available by request) and any By-Laws, Code of Conduct or Policy issued by the Club, as well as any instructions reasonably issued by the Club, its Committee Members and/or its Chief Umpire
3. I Understand that participation in Softball occurs in a public environment, and that photographs might be taken of my child whilst participating in Softball. I understand that those photographs may be posted on the Club's website and/or Facebook or Instagram page and will notify both the Club and team manager in writing if I have any objections to that occurring.
4. I acknowledge that there are risks that I or my child could suffer an injury, whether during the course of training, during a game or whilst otherwise participating in Club activities. In consideration of the Club accepting this application, I hereby release, indemnify and agree to forever hold harmless the Club, its Committee Members, Coaches, Umpires, Managers or any other person officiating on behalf of the Club against all claims and demands that may be made by me, my child or any other guardian of my child arising out of and such injury that my child may suffer, or arising out of any injury I or other members of my family might suffer whilst assisting or observing my child play Softball or otherwise participating in any Club activities.

Perth Cubs Softball play our games on Friday evening 5pm at Mirrabooka (to be confirmed). The training day(s) will determined by the coach, but are expected to be Monday evening - 2 hrs at Inglewood Oval. In the event of multiple teams, softballers will train as a squad. 

Player fees this season are $290 per player ($265 for second child in family) inclusive of: 

  • Capitation fee (details below)
  • Revsport transaction fees
  • Loan of Cubs playing Jersey
  • PSL fees to club for registering team / use of Mirrabooka facilities
  • Fees paid to plate umpires (was $50 per Cubs home game last season)
  • Team equipment costs - catcher's gear, pitching masks, balls, helmets, team bats, consumables
  • Club overheads

Please note: Last season the fees charged at registration were lower because they did not include the plate umpire fees  - which were collected seperately by the team manager during the season. We have rolled it into the registration fee to improve administration for team managers and parents.

Families will be expected to supply their own playing pants (grey baseball/softball pants), red belt, socks and a Cubs cap. Information on how to purchase will be provided.

As part of the registration process, the above fee will include the Softball Australia & Softball WA capitation fee (levy and insurance). This levy is for each player is dependent upon age and type of registration, as follows:
- Juniors Player 2025/26 - $36.25
- Non-Playing Official (Umpire, Coach, Manager, scorer) - no charge

Players who register for Softball are also elegible to play Tee-ball at the club. Tee-ball club fees will be waived, with the only exception being Tee-ball States competitions which are subject to additional fees. Please use promo code "SOFTBALL2627" in Gameday for a zero fee registration.
