ABOUT US

Located on Allen Tapp Way, Semaphore South, the Port Adelaide District Baseball Club is widely regarded as one of the premier baseball clubs in the South Australian Baseball League competition.

Since the club's founding in 1929 the PADBC has promoted the game of baseball in the Port Adelaide district. We pride ourselves on our commitment to the local community and focus on creating a family environment at our club dedicated to success and development across senior, social and junior baseball.

There is evidence of the club stretching back as far as 1889: A meeting was held in Port Adelaide and a Committee was formed, a team was put together but unfortunately there is no recorded evidence that games were played.

Our playing members range from 4 to north of 50 years of age - both males and females, and together with our strong family and supporter network the reach of the PADBC community is over 1000 people. You don’t need to go far to find someone who knows of or is involved with the PADBC.

We have a proud history of player representation at both State and National level with a number of junior players representing South Australia this past season. We also have a collection of senior players representing Australia, playing in the Adelaide Giants ABL side and professionally in the USA.
