OHAHC round 4 -- Saturday, 4 May 2024

Another double-header, BBQ-supported home round for both teams! The WM1S team is playing Mentone HC at 2:00 pm and the MM2S team faces Collegians-X at 3:30 pm. Round 3 saw the women thrash Mornington 8-0, while the men suffered a narrow 3-2 loss to Mornington-Cerberus after leading during the match.

OHAHC round 3 -- Sunday, 28 April 2024

Both teams playing Mornington Peninsula HC at Monash Frankston: women first at 2:00 pm and then the men at 3:30 pm. Round 2 results: WM1 won 2-0 over Cardinia Storm but the men went down 1-3 to Monash University.

First home matches for the season on Saturday! Women up first at 2:00 pm, playing Cardinia Storm HC. Men following at 3:30 pm, v. Monash Univ. BBQ to operate. Round 1 saw the women's team defeat Casey 5-1 in an excellent start and the men lost 0-2 to Casey, courtesy of the first ten minutes of the match! Go Bloods!

Another double-header at home, so let's support both teams!! Men to play first, against old foes St. Bede's HC, and the women second, playing Toorak East Malvern HC (TEM). Rnd 10 results: a narrow 0-1 loss for the men v Monash and a hard match for the women, losing to Croydon R. 0-3.

WPESE playing at the unusual time of 4:00 pm against Croydon Ranges (at YVG) on the Saturday and MM2S the next day at 12:30 pm at Monash v. Monash! Good luck! Round 9 saw a good win to the women, 2-0 over Doncaster, and another loss for the men, 1-5 to Mentone.

A rare double-header at home -- plus BBQ! The women play Doncaster at 2:00pm and the men tackle Mentone at 3:30 pm. Come and support the other team!! Round 8 of mixed fortunes: a 3-1 win for the women, but a forfeit given by the men due to a long injury list and unavailable players.

Both teams playing on Saturday at the same time, 2:00 pm! MM2S playing at home against Frankston 2. WPESE playing at Camberwell against, well, Camberwell! Milestones this weekend: 50 (Jo), 150 (Cal), 250 (Trent) and the big 500 for Macca?! Last week saw a 0-6 loss to Casey (men) and a 2-2 draw with Gtr Dandenong Warriors for the women!

First double-header home round for the season! Men at 2:00 pm v Casey and Women at 3:30 pm v Dandenong. Barbecue is on! Results for round 5 -- the men played short and lost 1-5 to Dandy and the women scored a goal with 5 seconds of play left to garner a 2-2 draw with ECHO!! That was close!

Vale Al (Alistair) Blackman

We farewelled Al early in December, after acknowledging his 253 games at our Presentation Lunch in November. Tragic to lose him as a consequence of his epilepsy. Our thoughts remain with his extended family and friends. We will wear black armbands for our round 1 matches to honour him further.
