After a fantastic inaugural season last year, ODSA is excited to bring Social 7’s Indoor Softball back again.
We’re now taking registrations for the Winter Social 7’s competition, running for 8 weeks during Term 3, 2026 on Friday nights. To find out more, continue reading below.

Social 7s
Looking for a fun, fast-paced sport this winter that’s all about mateship, movement, and minimal commitment? Join the Social 7s Indoor Softball League, a fast paced, fun, social competition (with heavily modified rules!) - returning in Term 3, 2026!
It doesn't matter if you’re a first-timer or a former champ, Social 7s is your chance to get involved in an inclusive, low-pressure comp that puts community first.
Whether you’re an individual or a small group, we’ll do our best to match you up and get you on the court.

⚙️ How it Works
Teams: 7 players on the field
Games: 2 innings each, with timed half-innings
Scoring: Runs = 1 pt, Home Runs = 3 pts, Golden Point = 5 pts, Out = -1 pt
Special Rules:

No sliding (safety first!)

Every hit is fair

Ball is live off walls and roof
-
Unlimited batting = everyone gets a go!

Activewear & court shoes (no cleats)

Team shirt or coordinated tops

Glove (optional – we’ll have a few spares!)

PCYC Membership ($30 adults / $15 juniors)
We provide:
Bats, balls, marked court, game-day support, and umpires (where possible)
