Hire a Minnow

We have several Minnows for hire. Boats can be hired for a term to ensure your child is keen before you commit to purchasing your own boat. Hire boats are stored onsite. It is expected that children hiring a boat have completed at least one season in GREEN FLEET and are a Full Member at DSC. Minnow Hire EOI.

• 1st race/session is free; then
• $200 for a term (paid in advance, with a refund of $100 if boat returned in the same conditon)

Boat Storage

We offer storage of boats in the 'Green Shed' in the Inner Boat Park at DSC. Storage is secure and out of the weather. Storage fees are $60/boat per year. At least one parent is required to be a full member of the DSC and NT Minnow Association to be eligible for onsite storage. All boats stored in the shed are also required to hold Public Liability Insurance. Storage fees air paid annually with membership.

Measurement Certificates

Most second hand boats will come with a Measurement Certificate. This should be kept in a safe place at home as it will be required if a boat is sailed in the National Championships. Members can upload their certificates below as a back-up. When purchasing a new boat dont forget to ask about the certificate.
