COACHING OPPORTUNITIES
Weekly DSC Coaching Programs throughout the Dry Season for adults. These programs are a great way to build confidence as you get started in club racing. These programs are run by DSC.
WeeklyILCA Development Squadthroughout the Dry Season for youth sailors. The program aims to develop the skills and tecniques of sailors. Sailors are required to have their own ILCA. This program is run by ILCANT.
Coaching clinics are offered annually. Youth Sail NToffers class coaching in ILCA's for junior sailors followed by the NT Youth Championship. Other coaching sessions are offered as and when possible and will be displayed here when scheduled.
CLUB RACING
Club Racing is best best way to learn more about sailing. Darwin Sailing Club race days are weekly on Sundays throughout the Dry Season. Our main event is the two-day NT Championships held on Darwin Show weekend.
MAJOR EVENTS
Nationals are run annually. Sailors do not need to be selected and can be a fantastic learning experience. Its also a great way to have a fun family holiday and experience sailing in another part of the country. The championships travel around the country making it unlikley that you will be back in the same place too soon.
In 2026 DSC will be hosting the Oceania Masters Championship and running an U30 Regatta alongside for those too young to compete as a Master. more information about this event can be found on the event page on this website.
