NCWPC Flippaball is a modified, non-contact version of mixed water polo designed for boys and girls in Years 3 to 7 (ages 7 to 12). The program runs for 15 weeks, spanning from Term 4 into Term 1 of the following year. During the first session, participants experience a ‘Come and Try’ introduction to Flippaball, followed by subsequent sessions that include short skills training and games1. It’s a fun way to introduce water polo skills while promoting safety, inclusivity, and enjoyment
At North Coast Water Polo Club, our Junior Teams cater to players aged Under 14 to U19, both girls and boys. The team composition depends on registered players, and we submit teams for the competitive season accordingly. If you’re keen on participating, we recommend starting swimming as soon as possible. Strong swimming skills significantly enhance your performance during skills and tactics sessions. A good target for swimming ability would be achieving the school's swimming certificate level 10 to 13. Additionally, we offer winter training for players interested in participating in the WPWAI Junior Competition.
North Coast Seniors participate in the Metropolitan League for both men and women. Over the years, North Coast has achieved remarkable success in Grand Final competitions, securing several pennants in recent seasons. The competition is open to individuals aged 17 and above, spanning up to 45 years, and encompasses various grades to accommodate different levels of ability.
