Welcome to the North Canberra Squash Juniors – the largest and fastest growing Juniors in the ACT competition. Whether you’re a first-time starter, or junior player with a few hits under your belt, this guide has all the information you need about the club.

Juniors at the club

Our junior program consists of junior practice on Sundays from 1:00-3:00pm at Nextgen in Lyneham, aligned to the school term. The practice is run by our juniors Head Coach, Corey Markham. Corey is a Premier Division player in the ACT Squash competition, and an accredited Club level qualified coach with Squash Australia.

We run an organised and balanced junior program designed to instil the basics and fun, with an aim to progress into the ACT junior competition when the players are ready. We have a proud history of our juniors being selected to participate in the ACT State junior squads and join the State teams.

The club has a talented and enthusiastic group of assistant coaches, all experienced with running group squads and sessions designed by the Head Coach to get the best out of each Junior.

We provide a development path for juniors from 8-19 years of age with fun, fitness, and developing a love of Squash being our prime aim.

Junior Contacts

NextGen members children between the ages of 8-19 years old are welcomed to join in, and participate, with the training at North Canberra Squash Juniors from 1-2pm on Sundays.

However, in order to ensure adequate coaching staff is available for training, please contact Corey (below) with your interest so he can organise numbers.

All equipment such as racquets, balls and eyewear are provided during training.
