Everyone is welcome to play hockey. It’s a great sport for the whole family, and we love having new members of all ages and skill levels.
Signing up early helps us plan teams, coaching, and training, and ensures a well-organised season for everyone. The season will bring plenty of fun, skill development, teamwork, and game time. We have teams for players from age 3 to 70+, from U6 to U16 plus senior men and women. Everyone is welcome so invite your friends to join us!
The 2026 winter season will begin on April 18/19 and finish on August 22.
Most competitions will be played at Stead Park, Corio (only 1 pitch) and Torquay, with U8 and U10 competitions also offered at Lloyd Reserve, Newtown.
The U12 competition will be played mostly on Saturdays, although teams (ours and other clubs) may nominate preferred game days (Friday or Sunday) if the HG Sharks team leads to commitments clashing.
Beginners and ex-players are welcome to join one of our FREE Come and Try options.
