Reflections OutThere Sailing Program

OutThere Sailing is the ideal way to have fun and get active on the water – spend your days outdoors in the fresh air learning new skills & participating in challenging activities!

We are pleased to welcome participants to our fun NEW Reflections OutThere Sailing Program in DINGHIES!

This program will run during the January School Holidays, 2026 and include FOUR sessions on the dates listed above.

All session times are 9:00am to 3:00pm

Numbers are strictly limited: 9 participants

The registration fee for this course is $340.

Sailing will be conducted on the Club's fleet of Pacer dinghies, which carry three course participants.  Participants will sail independently with an instructor nearby in a coaching RIB.

This is a great opportunity for sailors aged 11 to 17 years, with previous sailing experience, to further improve and extend sailing skills & knowledge.  The boats will be sailed inshore on the waters of Newcastle Harbour.

A big part of the Reflections OutThere Sailing Program is the social element of simply enjoying time spent with peers and doing something fun.  OutThere Sailing will keep friends together and keep you learning together.

These courses can lead interested participants into our Reflections Youth Squad Program - a winter coaching program aimed at racing in events with teams from other yacht clubs in NSW.  We encourage all OutThere sailors to join the Youth Development Squad.
