NCYC is committed to nurturing, recognising and developing local talent, This winter we are devising & running a Performance Squad for Adults at the NCYC.
For 2022 the initial roll out will be for female crews, then it hoped to mirror programmes for all next year.
The programme will consist of two training days, presented by several high-ranking athletes/coaches and sports specialist with the aim of forming High Performance Squads who will then represent NCYC at several State and Nationwide Regattas.
This programme will utilize our fleet of Elliott 6 sports boats and therefore would suit sailors with previous Open Regatta experience
