All participants are required to register as a member of The Water Polo School and pay the registration/membership fee together with the event fee for the competition / program, before attending any of the sessions.
Late registrations will only be accepted if spots are available.
REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED
The Registration Fee for the program DOES NOT include entry into the Warringah Aquatic Centre and this is required to be paid on arrival at the front entrance, by both the participant and spectator.
At least one parent MUST accompany their child.

PARENT CODE OF BEHAVIOUR
As a parent, I will:
•encourage players to participate for their own fun and enjoyment;
•focus on the players’ efforts and performance, rather than winning or losing;
•be positive in attitude toward the sport of water polo and emphasise th co-operative and team nature of the sport
•encourage the honest effort that leads to improved performance and the enjoyment of participation;
•encourage and respect coaches, referees and officials and their integrity;
•show appreciation for volunteer coaches, officials and administrators;
•not abuse, harass, yell at, or otherwise seek to intimidate, the referees controlling games;
•applaud fair play and good play during games whether they are made by my team or the opposition;
•never ridicule or yell at a player for making a mistake or losing a game;
•be supportive of all attempts to remove violent and inappropriate verbal and physical behaviours from organised water polo activities;
•encourage athletes to participate in water polo alcohol-and drug free;
•respect the rights, dignity and worth of every player regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion;
•attend water polo games and events, particularly age-group activities, not under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.
SPECTATOR CODE OF BEHAVIOUR
As a spectator, I will:
•remember that players participate in sport for their enjoyment and benefit, not mine;
•respect the rights of others and treat the opposition teams and their spectators with courtesy;
•applaud good performance and efforts from all individuals and teams and congratulate all participants on their performance regardless of the game’s outcome;
•respect the integrity, judgment and decisions of coaches, referees and officials and, teach young people to do the same;
•show appreciation for volunteer coaches, officials and administrators;
•not abuse, harass, yell at, or otherwise seek to intimidate, the referees controlling games;
•never ridicule, abuse or scold a player for making a mistake;
•condemn the use of violence in any form, whether it is by spectators, coaches, officials or players;
•not use foul language, sledge or harass players, coaches or officials;
•respect the rights, dignity and worth of every player regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion;
•attend water polo games and events, particularly age-group activities, not under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.
COACH AND TEAM MANAGER CODE OF BEHAVIOUR
As a coach or team manager, I will:
•remember that young people participate for pleasure and fun;
•develop training and development programs that encompass fairness to the participants and promote fair play;
•not ridicule or yell at young players for making a mistakes;
•be reasonable in my demands on players’ time, energy and enthusiasm;
•respect and operate within the rules and spirit of water polo and teach my players to do the same;
•ensure that the time players spend with me is a positive experience. All players are deserving of equal attention and opportunities;
•when coaching and managing junior teams, avoid overplaying the talented players, the just average players need and deserve equal time and the opportunity to improve;
•display self-control, respect and professionalism to all involved with the sport of water polo including opponents, other coaches, officials, administrators, parents and spectators and encourage all players to do the same;
•show concern and caution toward sick and injured players and, will follow the advice of a physician when determining whether an injured player is ready to recommence training or competition;
•endeavour to obtain appropriate qualifications and to keep up to date with the latest coaching practices;
•ensure any physical contact with a player is appropriate to the situation and necessary for the player’s skill development;
•respect the rights, dignity and worth of every player regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion;
•attend water polo training, games and events, particularly age-group activities, not under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.
