💦 TERM 4 WATER POLO SKILLS & DRILLS TRAINING PROGRAM

Our experienced Coaches make it lots of fun to learn Water Polo, while ensuring every player is developing the correct skills and techniques.

🗓 Program Dates

Training will run on Sundays from 18 October to 29 November 2026 (Please note: No session on 25 October due to pool unavailability.) Total sessions: 6 weeks

💰 Cost

$135.00 (+ fee) per player for the term Pool entry at Warringah Aquatic Centre is not included.

👥 Proposed Session Groups

(Subject to registration numbers)

• 5pm–6pm — Born 2015 & 2016 (Boys & Girls) – TBC

• 6pm–7pm — Born 2014 & Older (Boys & Girls) – TBC

We run our programs in age‑aligned groups to match Water Polo NSW Metro competition and Water Polo Australia National Youth Championship pathways. This ensures players are preparing correctly for the 2026/2027 summer season:

• U12 → Born 2015 & 2016

• U14 → Born 2013 & 2014

• U16 → Born 2011 & 2012

These sessions build strong foundations in:

• Eggbeater kick

• Passing & catching

• Shooting technique

• Counter‑attack movement

• Defending & body positioning

• Game understanding & decision‑making

Players are assessed and grouped by ability within their age group to ensure they continue progressing at the right pace.

Our experienced Coaches are supported by our Junior Representative boys and girls, who bring fantastic knowledge, energy, and leadership to the pool deck.

⚠️ IMPORTANT – REGISTER IN THE CORRECT AGE GROUP

We have limited places in each age group. Please register early to avoid missing out.

Correct age‑group registration ensures players are placed in the right training environment and aligned with competition pathways.

🏊‍♀️ Swimming Matters

Swimming is a critical part of becoming a successful water polo player. Any player wishing to progress to the next level is highly encouraged to join a swim squad once or twice a week.

🎉Membership Information

We are opening Term 4 entries before the season rollover on 26 September 2026.

• Current members who register before 26 September will receive their annual membership fee ($25+ fee) complimentary.
• After rollover, all previous memberships will be archived.
• From 26 September 2026 Returning players must complete the RETURNING MEMBER registration and pay the annual membership fee.

To Register:-

STEP 1  -  All NEW players/participants (those who have not participated in a water polo program with "The Water Polo School" previously) are required to register as a New Member of "The Water Polo School" and pay the $25 annual membership fee.

Players who have registered in previous season are to renew their membership as a Returning Member of "The Water Polo School" and pay the $25 annual membership fee.

Once completed you will be emailed a username and password (please check spam emails).  Please save this information, as you require this to login to register for the event/program/session you wish to attend each term.

STEP 2  -  Registering for the EVENT, Click on the EVENTS tab on the Northern Beaches Water Polo Academy - The Water Polo School  home page... and complete the details.

Late registrations will only be accepted if there are spots available and will incur an extra $30 fee.
