Wednesday Night Ladies Local Water Polo Competition

Warringah Aquatic Centre - 29 April 2026 – 24 June 2026 (9 weeks)

Two competitions are offered, both played in a full‑size field of play.

1. Social Competition

Best for: Beginners or players wanting a relaxed, non‑competitive environment Age: Over 18s preferred Time:7:00pm – 7:50pm

Format:

• 7:00pm – Skills & warm‑up (light swimming, egg‑beater, passing, shooting)

• 7:20pm – Game: 4 x 6‑minute quarters

• No scoring, no shot clocks

• Coach/Referee on the sideline

• Minimum 26 players required to register and sign in each week

Purpose: Fun, fitness, and learning the game without pressure.

2. Competitive Competition

Best for: Experienced players who want structured games without travelling for Metro competition Age: Over 18s preferred, but U16+ Metro players welcomeTimes:8:00pm & 8:30pm games

Format:

• Aim to form 4 teams (minimum 9 players each team)

• Games are scored

• Shot clocks in use

• Two referees provided
